costs 12 dollars!

As convenient as it is reliable! times are hard! People steal everything that isn't bolted! I have a stand on a truck and I need this to fix it! looks cool and very solid!

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Thought I'd ordered black

Does what it's supposed to, no real complaints just thought I'd ordered the black version. You have to follow up and ask questions, too many sellers use stock photos and descriptive text.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Great for towing groceries and winches

This is a very well made lock, just wish they offered it in packs of 3-6 identical keys. It's inconvenient to have a keychain for trailer locks; Finding a Matching Key to the Lock, Murphy's Law; The last button always works.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

Slightly Short by Gary Dwight Eason, Friendswood, TX

Trimax T3FL Premium 5/8" Key Receiver The low profile key lock is a solid construction, the only problem is that it's too short to fit through the trailer hitch. Slightly shorter , Gary Dwight Eason, Friendswood, Texas.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Not All Will Fit

great device for others not for me because of the cable connector

is a good lock but it didn't work for me. I can only insert it on one side, then the key doesn't fit on the other side. The problem isn't with the lock, it's with where my wire connector is in relation to the receiver hitch.

Pros
  • cool
Cons
  • replacement availability

No problems with hitch locks so far

My last (non-trimax) receiver lock had to be cut off because the lock was corroded after a few weeks of salt. So far this has worked well. I delete it about once a month or so and there hasn't been a single instance of it getting stuck. I wonder if this has something to do with the locking mechanism? I had more trouble opening the package than putting it on.

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Secret

Another inferior Revain product

Like the clutch cover purchased at the same time, this receiver lock did not survive the mild Michigan winter. When spring cleaning my car, I tried to remove this handset lock. Unfortunately it was rusty, frozen inside. It took almost a can of "good old" WD 40 and a few days to get the lock working again. I was about to pull out my flashlight to turn it off when it finally came loose. Like last fall, I oiled it again and we'll see how it survives the coming winter.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
