🔒 Trimax TDL1510 Trimaflex 15-Foot by 10mm Multi-Use Cable with Dual Loop Design Review

This cable has held up very well. There was tension on this cable and on the lock, we used it to secure a small jet ski. Too much stress during the extreme low tide on our dock. This cable has held up great! but the lock, made by another company, actually broke from the stress. The lock is junk but this cable is like new!

As mentioned the actual cable inside the cover is not 10mm long. I have another cable that comes with my kryptonite lock that is 10mm thick and feels and looks a bit thicker (I've attached photos for comparison). The difference is small and can hardly be seen in the pictures. It still works fine for my purpose as it's just a deterrent as both can be easily cut.

I use it (along with a lock) to secure some of my gear in the back of a truck. I have peace of mind as it prevents the theft at the wheel that happened to me while I was away from work. This is anti-theft, not anti-theft as I don't think anything is anti-theft from the "qualified" poor living in their world. The cable is long enough and flexible enough to use and I like the outer coating of the cable.

Bought to "fix" our generator to the garage wall. I understand that a wire cutter will take care of this in no time, but all I need is something to stop them stealing my neighbor's generator before they take mine. It meets all requirements. I didn't have to go to DEFCON 5 to secure my generator, but it certainly "looks" impressive. This is balance. If you want, take it. But it certainly looks impressive and is easy to roll up and store on top of the generator. I would give him two thumbs up.

I use my Trimax to secure items in the back of my truck when I travel. It's flexible enough that I can thread it through a lot of things, but it can't be bent if you want to make a tight loop. I'm sure my belongings are well protected from adventurers trying to break out of my truck, but I can see cable cutters cutting through this cable. If I was securing items for long periods of time or in an exposed location, I would probably use a very heavy chain rather than a cable. Trimax works great…

I measured the length of cable I needed for my project and 15ft was just what I needed so I ordered the 'Trimax TDL1510 Trimaflex 15' X 10 mm Dual Loop Multi-Use Cable", and it was about half a foot shorter, I immediately pulled out a tape measure, and in fact it was only 14.5". It is clear that this length does not add up to a 15 -ft cable led meaning they are intentionally mis-advertising their product which is ridiculous as the length dimension can easily be measured by any consumer who…
