Great for protecting my jet ski. The cable is routed through the front eyelet. I would rate it 5 stars but I'm a bit worried about the key lock. Keep it lubricated. Excellent design. Great design.

Like all locks of this type it really deters unprofessional thieves. That said, the cable and lock are solid, the key works both ways, and the design gives the user some flexibility in deployment. One of the best cable locks I've ever bought.

I bought this lock to use with the Rec-rac bike rack on my Tacoma. There are eyebolts on the post and I found this type of lock to be the only type that fits eyebolts, all other bike lock mechanisms were too large. I have a padlock on the back of the truck and haven't seen any rusting in a month, time will tell how it holds up.

Bought this lock to attach a jet ski to the jet ski swim platform when not in use. After just a week of use, the key slot froze to the point where the key could not be inserted. I thought I needed a wire cutter to free my jet ski.
