Seems like a good deal. I was thrilled to install this but can't use it without the magnets that need to be attached to the back of the screen. I'm a little disappointed with that.

I love this monitor! Very handy for working on the go! No need to download any special software on your laptop, you just plug it in and it works! Very easy to use. I lost the cable and can use my phone charger cable to connect it.

The thing is too bulky. I'm not sure how I envisioned attaching it to my Mac, but I definitely didn't want to attach it with adhesive pads, so I bought a stand instead. It was also unnecessarily complex and still clumsy. If you want to use the way it's shown here you'll need to permanently plug it into your computer, which I didn't want to do. I've been working from home since March and use many different screens at the same time. Having two screens at home helped a lot. I wish it was as big as my laptop screen but still works great for what I need. This item is great and I have no complaints about it other than the magnetic connection to the laptop. UPDATE JUNE 2022 - GREAT customer service! After this review, a thinner and lighter version was recommended and sent to me to solve the magnet problem. I agree it's much better but also customer service was very responsive and helpful. Nice change these days! One magnet detached from the monitor and the other does not stick to the laptop (replaced the sticky part and still detached). Both make this monitor unusable because it just falls over. Everything about this monitor is great. My only request is to upgrade the running board to something more permanent. I wasn't keen on using magnetic plates on my laptop and the angle I had to hold the screen at was awkward so I prefer to use a stand. The problem is that any slight push or kick against the footrest breaks down. I am very happy with this monitor. I really wanted to be able to work with a laptop on my lap, but this monitor is clearly not suitable for that. I don't think they explain it well enough in their marketing. This is VERY clear in their installation guide. The wearable screen was very easy to set up (I'm not a techie) and makes working from a laptop at home much more enjoyable. No more switching between windows when I have two screens. That saves me a lot of time. I'm very satisfied with this product! It's a bit pricey but works very well, is portable and well made. First, it mostly works as intended. Attach it to the back of your laptop and turn it into a 2 or 3 screen setup (requires 2 trios). Plug and play with USB-C or USB-A (driver required). I've had it for 8 months and I see what other people are saying. The hinge on mine is a little wobbly, the bottom pops out and sags when I try to tilt it towards me. And now the magnets holding the screen pop out. Today I had to replace it with new sticky bits and also add 2 more magnets to the back of my computer to prevent it from slipping off easily and falling off completely. I love this product. I originally bought it so I could work from home. I haven't stopped using it since returning. I removed my secondary desktop monitor. This allows me to move around the apartment and be productive. The only negative is that it's a bit thin. I'm very careful because I feel like I'll break it if I'm not careful.

I connected the screen to my 2012 MBP and it was fine, but it looks really good on my new 2019 MBP. I didn't even have to download the DisplayLink software - it automatically connected to the Big Sur operating system. I bought 2 and gave one to my son for his laptop. He is excited. We didn't expect to receive this in the next 4-5 days and received it today. I'm very excited because the price was below any other monitor with the bells and whistles offered. It works fantastic and knowing I'm working from home will only increase my productivity.

Very good picture, easy installation, safer than I read in other reviews. It's hard but worth it (see what I did there?).

I needed a second screen for my work but something I didn't have to stay in one place with and while that was perfect I just wish they had made a bigger screen but other than that it's great.

It works very well and is a very good product. Maybe a little lighter, but I'm sure future versions will take this into account.

I was so excited about this but there are a few things you need to know before you buy. #1 - Their tech support is email only and they are slow to respond. #2 - I have a Macbook Air and the monitor has NEVER worked since day one. I've worked with tech support to install and uninstall things - actually spent hours just trying to get it back. #3 - It would be a good idea if it worked or if they offered more support. NEVER!

Without any durability, magnets are not stable, short-lived and expensive. A defective item will not be returned 30 days after breakage, only a replacement cable will be sent that was already defective!
