My new favorite handguard!

Bought for aggressive inline skating. They come with hardened plastic top and bottom supports. Love the large wrist/hand guards on the bottom! I'm 5'10" with slim arms/wrists (with medium sized hands) and medium sizing is perfect! The stretchy material is good too, very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to wear their wrist with a want to save fall.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Avoid derby players

It sucks for a roller derby. They squeeze all the blood out of your hands and then stretch without support. They also offer little support because they flex and the spot where you step on the drop floor is flat and offers you no protection. You'll still bruise and sprain your wrist. The only thing they offered was more mobility to hold on to other players and jerseys. Get a pair of Velcro like the 187, they even have a new Derby version.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Questionable buy for seniors

Get these. suitable for sports

I bought several models to try on and they were goalkeepers. Others weren't as comfortable, not protective enough, or too restrictive. That's the best balance. I landed in them on my hands with no wrist pain. The splint is a great size and shape for protection, and the material covers your hands and fingers just enough to prevent scratches. They are very comfortable for what they are. They offer good coverage and protection but don't feel too restrictive, especially compared to others.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Available in white only

Don't do this in the small size unless you're a kid!

I had to use them for a while because I just couldn't afford to wait and couldn't afford to buy another pair but ended up gifting them to a teenager who appreciates them could. My hands became terribly swollen from it, and even very, very thin people could not put them on. I found out later that my local skateboard shop doesn't even sell them to people over ten simply because they never fit. If you are buying these for a child they fit the wrists fairly well but you might have length fitโ€ฆ

poor design

This product resets wrist security by 40 years. I was very excited to receive the new skateboard wristbands. I've been skating since 1963. For a long time there was no safety equipment and I've sprained my wrists so many times that they're very thin. My hands are a normal size when I tried this brace on, I could barely put my hand in it, the size was just right for my wrist, but as they are difficult to put on I immediately sent them back and ordered wrist guards from the company that makesโ€ฆ

They are quick to put on and the rounded part .

My Revain order history tells me I buy a pair about once a year. I wore them to the Derby Lite and now I wear them like fresh meat. Four workouts a week, washing once every two weeks. They're quick and easy to put on, and the rounded portion of the plastic screen grip hits a lot better than its curved counterparts - it slides better, doesn't move in the body. The ventilation openings in the sleeve area tire over time and form "bumps", like tights. Eventually the sleeve becomes too loose and the

Works very little, but otherwise great!

I ordered these in a small size first as my previous triple 8 wrist guards were small and they fit me perfectly and I fully sized the small shield company. I've seen some reviews saying they are a bit small to start with but stretch over time. The way I saw it, I put one on, although it seemed too small and definitely wasn't stretched to fit, it was completely cut off from my circulation. -and-hurt-crazy. Losing weight was even more difficult and I was a bit panicked that I would have to cut it
