The paddles are ok but the balls.

Not bad for the money. Just note that the balls that come with the kit are not well made. Mine broke in half the first time I played it. I would suggest also buying some 'good' pickles to use with these paddles which are good for the money.

Pros
  • Wood
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

The ball broke quickly, suitable for leisure, sports and playroom

Played 6 games today. The first ball cracked at the end of Game 4. The racquets held up, although they felt a bit weak at the top of the handle. Not sure if the paddle at the tip of the handle is tight or not. I won't know until it breaks or is intercepted. Only paid 12.99 for the set so can't complain too much but expected the balls to last longer so lost a star.

Pros
  • Pickleball set ideal for leisure and medium solo play
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Balls separated, racquet ok

We have had the same experience as others. Paddles are suitable for meeting new players. They're not the lightest, and one of them was slightly curved, but they're well-suited to the promiscuous, uninitiated player. The balls, on the other hand, leave a lot to be desired. They tore at the seams fairly easily and we were fortunate to have purchased more balls separately.

Pros
  • Replacement shock absorbing grip with finishing strap
Cons
  • Communication with seller
