Lighter/Lighter Best in Household Needs

Product concept and design are very good. The light part is fine. But the light part is not so good. It takes an average of three hits with a flint for it to catch fire and easily go out. Also, the lighter component easily slips out of the canister and is therefore not very reliable. I understand this is inexpensive and not intended to be used as survival gear, but a little work will increase the functionality.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Obsolete

Great EDC product. the best household item

I've been doing EDC for a few months now and am very happy with it. I like that it reduces the volume from two bag items to one. The flashlight is handy and bright enough that I don't have to fiddle with my phone for quick use. Although it won't let you see far, it will brighten up the room. Lighter works every time, only had to refill twice in 5 months. The last 2 zips I wore evaporated all liquid within a week. Will most likely buy 2 more to keep in car and hurricane emergency kit.

Pros
  • the best
Cons
  • the packaging is ugly

Swings and slides for me

I wanted to love this product but it just feels like two poorly designed pieces stuck together. The flashlight has a short end which means it uses button cell batteries. That means you have no way of charging it, and batteries are harder to find than AAA batteries or the like. The lighter doesn't hold much fuel and the firing pin is tiny making it difficult to flick and fire. And the overall handling is very crisp - you can feel it grinding as you unscrew both sides. But the worst thing (IMO)…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
