Easy DIY replacement

So far so good. Installed about 6 weeks ago and fixed the horrible "knock" I was developing on my bike. Cheap and cheerful, and it seems like it's quite enough for my daily commute. If I get the same 4 years of use from this as the one I replaced, I'll be happy.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Great price

just what I need for my BMC TeamElite 03 size M with SRAM SX 1x12 group.

Hello from Costa Rica, I need a BSA bottom bracket because mine broke last April. And my BMC TeamElite 03 2020 MTB requires a Truvativ Power Spline bottom bracket (68 X 113). It worked but I plan on replacing the cranks with a GX 32t and a lighter hollow bottom bracket!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Modern

Lasts about 6 months on average

This is the OEM bottom bracket on my 2017 Specialized Camber 650b and I've been through 4 of them already. I consider myself a beginner and ride the trails this bike has to handle. The good news is that it's easy to replace and cheap (reason for 2 stars). Truvativ has a 1 year warranty on this part, but at this price it's probably not worth paying for shipping. At this point I will either upgrade my BB or just switch to a new bike. Hooray!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Loose

Long life except for three from 2018

I had a very good five star life from Truativ bottom brackets until I bought three date coded in 2018. Normally I get three years of life. but two of the three I got in 2018 only lasted two weeks before I had complaints about crank wobble. I still had the new one from 2015 in stock and it had no eyelashes. I checked one that has a lifespan of over two years and was made in 2015 and still had no whip. I hope I can buy one from 2019 and it will be good.

Arrived quickly, good price

I replaced my original Power Spline after about 6000 miles and 3 years. They are definitely different from ISIS; ISIS has 10 splines and a larger bolt hole, Power Spline has 12 splines. It arrived two days later with free cross-country shipping from BikeWorldUSA. So far so good, time will tell if it will last as long as the original. Of course it was nice and relaxed to cycle to work this morning. Installation was easy with the right tools and the price was under $20. Mine came with aluminum…

  • Very good price

Everything seems fine, the bottom bracket was in perfect condition

My old Tange JIS square cone bottom bracket (OEM in 2002) was completely worn out and I needed a replacement. Since I had to buy a new crank anyway, I decided on the Powerspline. Everything seems fine, the bottom bracket was in perfect condition, came with an aluminum cup as advertised and new crankset mounting bolts. I now have spare mounting bolts because the new crank also came with mounting bolts. I don't drive off-road or do anything crazy, I just drive home from work 2-3 times a week…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Perfect fit for my 88ft fixed gear Nashbar

I ride a fixed gear bike 20 miles a day to work. This lower brace can withstand some pretty rough abuse. Spins fast, spins right and holds. Perfect for my 88ft nashbar which has an odd bottom bracket size. This will align my front sprocket exactly with my rear wheel. I ride all year round so there is a lot of junk, salt and dirt. The sealed bottom bracket ensures the bearings rotate smoothly year after year. Since I ride rigid, I put a lot of stress on the bottom bracket as I use it for braking

The only cartridge bottom bracket I can't burn in 30 days

I don't know why some people are reporting that these bottom brackets aren't durable. I hope they haven't started making them cheap. I've had to convert all my bikes from cartridge bearing bottom brackets to free bearing models because I always burned them out within a few weeks. Newer models of hanging cups are the worst. Regardless of the brand (Campagnolo, Shimano, SRAM, and numerous no-name models), cartridge bearing design seems to be misguided. An exception is the Truvativ Power Spline…
