These overhead gate supports were just what I needed. They installed easily on my 2007 Toyota Highlander and work great to bring the tailgate back up slightly.

2nd replacement on same vehicle. This iteration easily outperformed the original hardware and first replacement! I would do it again and absolutely recommend to friends and family!

Pretty easy to install just make sure you have something to support the liftgate when it is removed. They are reversible, meaning they fit both left and right hand. It was very cold in here when I installed it, so I immediately noticed the difference.

I bought these lifts after returning the cheaper ones from Revain. Another brand broke just days after installation. These appear to be of better quality. I would give 5 stars but I don't know for how long.

I just have to say we were thrilled to be able to replace these tailgate stays in our granddaughter's Highlander! We worried that someone would get hit on the head with their old props. The TUFF SUPPORT LIFTS were very easy to install and worked great! They came as promised and were a good price.
