Great for inside door. Could cause an expensive chain reaction.

Easy to install. It took me less than10 minutes. It would have been even faster but it took a minute for me to realize that the 2 long screws that held the inside/outside handles together were actually IN PLACE in the mechanism (and needed to be removed before installing), not in the small container that held the faceplate screws.Bronze color is very dark. Nice look. The problem is that now I want to replace every other ugly, shiny, gold doorknob in the house to match this one. And the…

We had several of these type in our home. We repacked some doors and we had to match the style. They are the same only less expensive.

  • Looks good lot better than most even better than Lowe's
Cons
  • The brushed nickel finish is prone to showing fingerprints and smudges, requiring frequent cleaning

Not what I expected.

Personally I thought this was a security lock with a key. After installing it I realized the locking mechanism can be opened with a mere butter knife. It's a good product easily installed if that's what you're looking for.

Two long screws connecting door knots inserted in inside door knob

Arrived today and installed today. Seems to work without a problem. Sturdy item which looks good. Couldn't find the screws that connect the outer and inner parts of the door knob. They were screwed into the base of the outer door knob. Maybe that is the normal but I had to look. It might have said this in the instructions, I didn't read them. 5*

It's just okay best in my review

The reason I'm not completely happy with this lock is it is uncomfortable to the touch. The edges are actually quite acute- not exactly sharp but not comfortable to the touch. On the upside, it is a sturdy handset and it looks nice.

Poor quality good for me

The edges of the handles are so sharp they feel like you might cut your hand when you open or close the door. That's my review.

Get what you paid for

I concur with some of the other reviews regarding the "sharpness" of the handles. I think some are overstated, but it is not a pleasant feel. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it does indicate a real lack of design understanding. Other than that it was easy to install and works fine. I know it's not top of the line, but adequate for my needs.

Broken and unmatched locks

Bought a set of three but had to return the entire set due to one of them having a broken lock button which was reason enough to return that one but ended up returning all three because none of the locks matched. I read a post by another customer that stated that the locks are easily rekeyed with the supplied tool but there is nothing in the instruction sheet that describes how. Soooooo back they went.

  • The traditional wave design may not appeal to those looking for a more modern or contemporary look for their home decor

Metal hurts your hand

My husband likes to just grip and go with door handles and he complains that the metal handle is a bit sharp and hurts his hand. It isn't so sharp that it cuts you, but you can definitely feel the uncomfortable edges and points in the handle. It was cheap and I got what I paid for.

Absolute Garbage - Don't Buy

This product is junk. It didn't even last 8 months before the handle fell off and I couldn't get back in the house. I'm usually pretty good a fixing things, but there was no way to salvage it. Save your time and money and get a high quality handle instead.
