Not good for roof racks (danger!)

This is an unreliable method of securing your belongings on top of your car (as advertised). No matter how tight your zip ties are, your materials will slide, move, and bounce around a lot. This is probably more likely if you're dealing with metal trunks making contact with plastic on the bars. I tested it during a test drive on a desert road and my Hual was about to break free (thankfully I had taken other measures to ensure it didn't come loose). but I will not trust him in a transport…

Pros
  • STRONG AS A GOAT: With 500 pounds of tensile strength, you can trust these cable ties for even the most ambitious projects. Twisted Goat ties have a special heavy duty strap that provides a secure fit during transit. A bundle of firewood, PVC pipes, 2x4 or whatever you need to carry around - Crooked Goat will hold it tight.
Cons
  • Low repairability

Extremely Versatile

Can't believe how durable they are. The fabric surrounding the flexible wire is thick and strong, but you can still easily customize the zip ties to suit your needs. I received a starter pack of each 3ft, 6ft and 10ft lengths so I had the versatility to use them for different purposes. We used a 10ft cabinet to secure the lumber we were moving and it made the job MUCH easier. I was impressed that the fabric didn't wear off or damage when we were done. They work so well that I have to buy more…

Pros
  • DIMENSIONS: 1 in. wide woven tape x 3 ft. stranded wire; 3ft length is best for wrapping cord, rope etc.
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

the largest bread ties you will ever use

I have an artificial shoulder joint so I find it difficult to remove and replace the huge small ladder or extension ladder from the roof of the work truck. The worst part was dealing with the rubber bands, which were always so difficult to put on or take off, constantly afraid that the S hook was about to poke an eye out. I was looking for the best way to tie my ladders without resorting to one of those expensive ladder systems. I saw these oversized "bread bands" and decided to give it a try…

Pros
  • PATENTED DESIGN: Patented three strand braided construction that is stronger than the competition and more durable, flexible and pliable than traditional rubber and wire ties.
Cons
  • Expensive
