The mirror should move up and down and side to side. It doesn't move from side to side. Also, I had to enlarge a hole in the door to insert the dowel pin. I advise against buying this product.

Mirror on driver's side Bought a second time from this seller. I received the product within 3-4 days and this is the easiest to install (for a 2007 Toyota Avalon). 3 screws and a plastic connector and you're done. This is a high quality mirror that works just like the original. You might want to paint it as it doesn't look like the last coat was applied on the outside.

I just needed the glass part of this mirror, I saw it and thought it would be great! It was very affordable, dinner was delivered quickly. Unfortunately it didn't fit my 2008 Toyota Avalon, I was planning to buy this glass and use it on my car as my car is gold but it didn't fit. Toyota wanted $190 for this item. They then charged an additional $125 for installation (I never thought removing the plastic cover and three 10mm nuts could cost that much). Anyway, I looked at this item and was impressed by the workmanship. This is identical to the OEM in my opinion. You won't be able to tell the difference. It took 10-20 minutes to install and works just like the OEM. This is a great OEM replacement.
