Good burner for the price

Worked as a DVD drive on multiple systems without special drivers and updates. He had no problem reading media I threw at him. I had some problems burning DVD-R discs, but +R worked fine. Although maybe it was the host. The interface is quite simple, a USB3 port is needed for proper power supply to make it work as a writer. The USB-C converter is also good. Perfect addition to our new computers

I've upgraded all of our PCs and the new laptops no longer have DVD drives and the new desktops I'm building don't have front drive bays either. However, I occasionally have to use DVDs to download music or older programs. Simply connect via USB-3/C cable and get started. No drivers need to be downloaded. Instant Recognition. I even burned some DVDs just to test this feature and it worked great too. Beautifully crafted, super slim, functional and easy to store away when not in use.

Works with DVD+RW for Optical Drives

I've always wanted to try the DVD reading and writing capabilities and this product allowed me to do it in Windows 10. I bought a Maxell DVD+ RW. Test the function. Once the device is plugged in, Windows 10 gives me the option to use it as my flash drive of choice. The next question was how fast is it? Now that came as a surprise. Works great: Computer and accessories

This compact USB 3.0/Type-C Slim External DVD RW CD drive works great. CD reader. When you need it, you need it, and it fits the bill perfectly. It's inexpensive, works great, and is portable so you only need one device to cover all your family-friendly desktops and laptops. very easy to store. I like that it doesn't require a separate power cord like the old bulky "portable" CD drives I had. In general it's great. It works well, is easy to store and very affordable.

Beautiful, compact, plug and play - and works flawlessly in everything. Perfect for my needs.

The slim and compact external DVD-RW CD USB 3.0/Type-C writer is perfect for my needs. A USB cable and USB-C adapter are already included in the box, which is great for my small desktop PC. I literally plugged it in, tested it with an old scratched DVD (Felix the cat/very old cartoons) and it worked fine. It was actually better than I expected based on the condition of the actual DVD I put in it (clean but scratched) but it read very well. I don't use DVD/RW anymore but it's a big pain whenever
