🧢 Enhance Visibility and Warmth with the TYR Hi-Vis Warmwear Cap Review

This cap has become my favorite cap for open ocean swimming in water temperatures of 50F or 10C and above. I need a canopy that can swim in big waves until I bridge the gap. Although I fell several times, the wave never broke the cap.

This swim cap has a good fit and has a fabric material on the inside that does not pull on your hair. So it is very convenient. Love the fact that it feels a little thicker than silicone but not as thick as a neoprene cap. It has a little more substance than more traditional caps. I will be using this product until they discontinue it. This is my everyday hat. Due to the color it is also very suitable for open water. I wear it over a neoprene cap in cold water.

It really pushes my head. I measured my head with a tape measure and came up with 22 inches (49 cm), which is probably the average height for a man. I don't know if this tension should be better for competition or if there is a way to stretch it. I stretched it over a 5 liter pot for several days and it didn't help at all. Great hat!. the only one that doesn't snag or break my hair. It's about warmer clothes but I don't notice a difference like it's getting too hot or something. I use it in an indoor pool. I also have long hair and have no problem pulling a low ponytail down my back. It's quite bright at first, like a marker, but fades a bit over time. Just don't put it in the washing machine like I did. After that it started to smell (I had to buy a new one). But the instructions say there is no washing machine.

I prefer this cap over silicone and latex caps because it doesn't tangle my hair and doesn't smell (maybe I'm in the minority but for some reason I never really liked the smell of rubber caps). Great hat for moderate temperatures when silicone isn't enough (and two silicone caps are too tight) and neoprene is too warm. A little looser than we'd like - sometimes it seems like it's slipping.
