The best USB extender. Period.

This USB extension cable is easy to get. Durable ethernet cable with a length of over 100 feet, even with Logitech 1080p webcam. Highly recommended.

Works with quirks

I'm having intermittent signal flow problems which for some reason are solved by transferring power from one unit to the other and this occurs in both the transmitter unit and the receiver unit. The device only works up to 150 feet and not an inch more.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

So far, so good. in networking products

More testing needs to be done but for now I've been able to run 150ft of stranded Cat6e cable and still get full use of the devices on the other end. I just received a USB2.0 feedback speed tester to compare this method and a bunch of active 30ft uGreen extensions side by side.

U-Link Extender works great with USB cameras

If you need to extend the position of your webcam, the U-Link Extender is one of the best solutions on the market. USB cables work well for webcams that are only a few meters away, but a U-Link extension cable allows you to mount your webcam up to 100 meters away using a UTP CAT5e/6 cable. Excellent goods.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Frequency

Strange high frequency hum?

The device is great for what I use it for - stretching a USB midi controller onto a large stage. The only sticking point is that the transmitter hardware itself emits a fairly loud ringing/buzzing sound once a connection is established. The signal is not transmitted over ethernet, but the box makes a noise that makes me concerned about its reliability. Is anyone else facing this problem?

Works well, looks good, is lightweight and well made.

So far the device is working very well. The lag is imperceptible with a regular mouse, keyboard, or wired USB headphones. I would like to know what the delay numbers are. I'll be trying this out with a road bike and pedals in an interactive racing game soon to make sure lag/jitter isn't an issue. Nice aluminum body, light. On the box is a place for grounding. I would suggest exposing more metal before adding the ground wire.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons

USB over Ethernet at a good price!

Amazing value for money. Does what it says on the tin and gives you USB over long-term Ethernet! I hooked it up with a 100ft CAT6 ethernet cable priced at mono and it works fine. Cons: It can be a little temperamental with your PC waking up from sleep or even on reboot at times. Sometimes I have to completely disconnect the remote hub and USB devices, wait a few seconds, and reconnect. After that everything is fine. This RARELY happens, but you must be aware of it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Fits

Works as advertised.

These little boxes solved my problem connecting my computer to my stereo. The computer and stereo are in opposite corners of my room, almost 35 feet apart. Traditional USB cables will not work at this distance. They do their job well. I only gave 4 stars because the designer overlooked the most fundamental problem. The boxes have flanges for surface mounting. Unfortunately, the Cat6 cable connections on the device are installed the wrong way around. The finger release tab on the cable mounts to

Pros

  • Obsolete model

Works well, but: Computers and accessories

This is the ticket for those who need to expand their USB capabilities beyond the 16-inch (or so) limit. When it's in use, throughput is excellent, comparable to a direct connection to your computer's USB port. However, in my opinion, this device lost a star due to a design flaw. When I turn off my computer, the connection between the two ends of the power supply goes idle (this is normal), but when I restart my computer, it remains idle. There is no on/off switch for U-Link, so I found through
