Product satisfying the quality of the product, good price.

With its pros. Especially without an alternative thing . Provides stable 250-300 Mbps at a distance of 1 km in line of sight. Cons below: Fascinating thing. does not forgive the slightest cable crimping errors. Moreover, it is picky about the cable itself and its length!

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

I bought myself 2 points of 5AC Loco, one is installed on the 13th floor from a friend, the second is on the roof of a private house, the visibility is direct and without interference, the distance is 500 meters. Naturally, at such a distance, the points work perfectly, in any weather, the signal is stable, there are no breaks in communication, you don’t have to reboot anything - set it and forget it. After setting, the points are hidden from the network, that is, you will not see them in the…

Pros
  • The quality of communication, the stability of the devices themselves, data transfer.
Cons
  • No Poe adapters included. Well, the lack of information for people who are considered amateurs in the field of IT technologies. I would like to know in advance - can the points work alone (I bought two at once, and the thought of this came later, and perhaps I could save money), if so, then it would not be bad to see detailed setup instructions in an understandable language for "Amateur" , if not, then indicate information about this on the website.

Great value for money, one of the best offers.

Fits great, works great, does what it's supposed to do! I recommend that it works stably for 0.5 km between two such devices without line of sight, several trees interfere, while catching AP within 2-3 km from all sides. There is experience with *-Link - of course there is no such stability and flexible settings. I plan to experiment with the settings in the future.

Pros
  • Quality, all kinds of settings, firmware.
Cons
  • A little more would be 5-10 mm size for mounting, there is no separate GND.

Wrong items received

Ordered 2 of these to connect to a network connection to an outbuilding. However, the goods received were not Loco5AC-US, but 2 Loco5ACs, which are not compatible with our network. We've tried troubleshooting issues with them and it's only after closing the return window that we realized this wasn't the right device.

Pros
  • Wireless Access Points
Cons
  • Defective

Ideal for wireless building to building communication

I agree with JB. When you know they're designed to provide wireless line of sight several miles away, that's a great price. I'm getting a stable 600MB up and down. No complaints here. Use them as a link, they are not hotspots. I will buy again if I need WiFi.

Pros
  • Networking products
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Doesn't work as a default hotspot!

I bought this to upgrade my Ubiquiti Nano Station Loco to use as a hotspot. This model only works to connect with others using Airmax. It does not work as a standard access point. Copied from the Ubiquity website: UBNT-SNK 2 years ago. My apologies for the confusion caused by the name, but AirMAX AC products are not standard Wi-Fi products and are not advertised as such. If you want standard WiFi I would recommend returning it to your retailer as these products also do not accept alternative…

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • no power

Ubiquiti Certified Technician Review

I'm a Ubiquiti Certified Technician. This makes me a proven IT specialist. I've been using Ubiquiti products for 10 years now - every year it gets better and better. This bridge installation is no exception. Please understand this before purchasing this product 1- This is NOT a wireless access point 2- This is NOT a user friend that needs setup 3- You must have 2 for it to work. I won't do anything for you Think of these devices as a simple wire between two points. They transmit wireless…
