💡 Enhance Network Performance with Ubiquiti UF-RJ45-1G SFP (Mini-GBIC) Module Review

This is a mini GBIC to 1G rj45 adapter. It's available almost anywhere good networking gear is sold, but this one is part of the Ubiquiti ecosystem. If you use Ubiquiti hardware and are looking for an adapter that combines quality and value with good support, you've come to the right place.

I've used them with a bunch of old Unifi and UDM Pro switches and they've always worked fine. As some others have reported they tend to get hotter than you might expect (I don't think this is an issue, I think it has more to do with where in the devices they are) but be You aware of this warmer. especially if you take them out after a few uses. Never had any functional issues with them, they've always been plug and play for me.

Question aside, this is a Ubiquity gadget. I looked at other similar mini GBIC types but with all the specs, abbreviations and compatibility warnings I ran out of patience and bought this one. It works out. It also has beautiful lights.

. I use it with my AT&T GigaPower fiber optic modem to bypass it (using gbic to route arps back to the modem). Otherwise it's just gbic for RJ45 copper network cable.
