Will not buy again

Configure this for use with a TCP/IP door access control panel. The RFID function works great. The seller said the keyboard would only work for PIN entry on the board, which doesn't seem to be true. I've tried it in different configurations and still can't get the custom PIN configuration to work from the keyboard. But for RFID input, it works fine. However, for looks, there are other products that I would recommend beyond that.

Pros
  • Access Control Keypads
Cons
  • Small Items

Although it appears to read non-HID cards, the keyboard is not standard on proxy readers and should be considered decoration. It is not possible to create a card + code as most keyboards allow. It took me over 30 days of Revains to research this and find out that it was practically useless (as there were no instructions) so I can't return it. Should be a good addition to the local junkyard like many other Chinese made goods.

Pros
  • Accessory
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Firstly, as others have said, it was smaller than expected

Firstly, as others have said, it was smaller than expected without being too small. It's definitely not going to win any style awards as far as looks tough. The buttons have a pleasant tactile click and the buzzer is very loud. To be honest, the biggest cosmetic issue I had was the backlight unevenness. All of this, as they say, is a valuable product and I feel like I got my money's worth. I am using a vision controller device and all functions work as described. It can read 125kHz RFID cards…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Only available in black
