A little difficult to assemble. I was able to find that out easily by reading other reviews. At first it looks like the stand is too big to fit in the hole in the base. This is a sturdy stand. In addition to the central metal pin (threaded spindle), they sent us the wrong size package! It doesn't even come close to fitting into the center hole that was supposed to hold the cone. My husband is currently trying to drill a wider hole in the base so it's not a waste of time.
