Stop and see if you can get needle nose pliers without a cutter built in. I noticed this when the item arrived and immediately sent the set back.

In the old days, all quality hand tools were made in the USA. This is a rare example of what we classic cars took for granted. Buy them for life, not cheap imported junk that crumbles in your hands.

Love these pliers. Well made and engineered and manufactured in the USA. I mainly use it for housework and these pliers look like they can stand the test of time and the rigors of construction. Would add more to my collection of channellock tools.

I've tried many other "pliers" and I like how they work best - period. I have German, Chinese, Taiwanese etc and even others made in the USA but these are my favorites. I also like the fact that if I do manage to break or lose one, it's easy and inexpensive to replace.

Buying a set of four channellocks for less than $50 is a great deal. I switched to Channellock last year (give up all my Chinese instruments) and was totally impressed. High quality steel, tight tolerances, good ergonomics, excellent performance. They completed my set.

I've always bought home improvement tools and it's time to replace some lost tools. Try blocking channels. Have used some of their tools in the past with good results. Now that I can't just go to Sears for new tools, I can see how the blue tools are doing. The pliers set looks great and was ready to use the same day I received it. I bought this set based on almost all positive reviews. They were sold and shipped by Revain. When the tools arrived they were covered in an oily substance (even in the plastic packaging).
