Sadly, this ticked almost all the boxes for what I wanted in a usb hub for my macbook air m2. However, whenever I do not have my M2 plugged in, the device makes a high-pitched ringing noise that is unbearable. I have to leave the hub unplugged from the power supply whenever I have my macbook unplugged. I had great hopes that this docking station would work for two external displays for my 2020 MacBook Pro M1 with MacOS Monterey and DisplayLink software installed. It takes a lot more space around the desk and cabling is a bit confusing. It worked for me. I returned it because I did not have enough desk space. Look at Anker's dock which is much more leaner and does not need as much space.

thought that i could use this hub to connect my two monitors. one via hdmi, the other via usb-c. hdmi works well. usb-c does not. also could not use my usb-c headset with this device as well.

This is a fairly pricey dock that (when I originally received it) worked great but not so much anymore. My setup is two external monitors (connected via HDMI to HDMI2 and HDMI3) connected to a laptop via USB-C (Host 2). Both monitors are 1080p. The laptop is closed and I don't use the laptop screen. After 1.5 months of use, my zmuipng hub is not working any more in my usb for the new 2021 M1 macbook pro. I would have to reconnect the wires to reinitate the connection. There's no CS contact for zmuipng either to fix or troubleshoot the issue

Using this for a work-provided M1 Macbook Air 13". Not only does it connect seamlessly (when other adapters I tried didn't have compatible drivers with an M1 Macbook), but it even accomplished fully charging thru the USB-C port (something they warn you may not deliver enough power, but mine does).Fair warning, it gets a little warm, and omits a very faint humm, like most other power bricks, while you charge the laptop thru it.

I bought this usb c dock for my new Chromecast with google tv. I needed the extra ports and the ethernet.It was compatible and the power delivery powers both the dock and the Chromecast. It is working great no complaints. Having the extra usbs is huge plus the ethernet is a game changer since our wifi isn't great.

Every thing connects to my laptop including power through the hub, allowing me to take it with me by removing a single connection. It couldn't be easier.

The product is not working anymore, just conked off in 3 months. Don't buy this product, donate the money to charity The dock's USB ports don't support fast charging, slowing down device charging times.

I was able to get a lot of devices connected and most of them worked if you left it plugged in for a while, even on my thunderbolt 4 laptop it still took a while for my mouse and keyboard to turn on, I also had trouble getting more than 2 monitors to display

After some playing around, the docking station works as described. Note, if using the dock for a Surface Laptop 3, you will need an ADDITIONAL USB-C connection since the laptop only has one USB-C port. The third monitor requires you to use both of the USB-C output ports on the back of the device. I use this hub with a new 14 inch power book with M1 chip. This Mac does have three USB-C ports, an HDMI port and a SD card slot. I wanted to be able to connect my devices with USB A plugs. I purchased this Dock to connect to my HP Elitebook x360 830 G6. I have two HD 27" IPS monitors, and the Dock supports this without any issues. At first, it wasn't clear what the dual USB C cable was for, but there is a place in the back of the Dock labeled Host 1 And Host 2. I have used a lot of different docks over the yrs…. This dock is by far my favorite. So many features a lot of docks lack, the built in storage, and the stability…. At this price point… its unmatchable. Excellent product!

I use this with a MacBook Air and is perfect for low impact travel as it is super easy to use and I can charge everything I need on the road with out a bunch of other chargers.

Overall great little dongle for MacBook Pros with M1 chip. Provides all the ports one would need with lighting fast speeds. A must have for Apple MacBooks.
