    What is compression clothing?

    People who complain of a tight fit are unfamiliar with compression garment technology. Webster defines contraction as "pushing into a small compass and a certain shape, usually in the face of resistance." Compression garments are inherently tight. BY DESIGN is used for muscle support. If you want a looser fit, order one size up. The loose t-shirt may be 2 sizes larger than you usually wear. I'm 6ft 3in, 180lbs and size XL fits me perfectly. It matches the "t" for me, no pun intended.

    • Very good product for cold weather. My son says it keeps him warm. He plays football in any weather, eats or shines.

    • It stands tall for adults, but it's definitely a kid's size.

    I'm not used to clothes that fit this tight, but I'm used to them. I work in a warehouse on a forklift and this shirt has become my favorite. Thanks!

    QUALITY OF MEMBERS (good) VS. Amazon (poor)

    I have 2 of these from Dicks (bought 2020) and 2 of these on ebay (bought 2021). I've been using these Coldgears compression turtlenecks for 8 years now. It seems that every year Under Armor changes the design and either the quality gets cheaper or the design gets worse. I put them up for sale on ebay during the 2021 holidays and bought 2 for about $35 each to update my previous versions. For savings over the original $50-$35 price point, I thought it was a good buy.     Size matters a lot to me

    I ordered a large one. Everything I wear is big. Suitable for a 14 year old child. I go 1x, then done. A matching plus size bottom suits medium sized boys too. It sucks, they seem great.

    The medium is not a medium.

    This was booked for my daughter to play softball. She's a psychic about everything to do with athletic wear except that. It's awful. We can't return it because she needs it for tomorrow but BE CAREFUL and order about 2 sizes up if you want it to look like it fits you.

    Not warm at all! - my new rating

    Bought above and below. The reviews were very warm. They are NOT warm. It's 29 degrees outside and I feel like I jumped in a cold pool, which I did, so I know what it's like! I'm sending them back!

    Cold outside is the best in my rating

    My husband wears cold clothes all winter. This is the first time he has been let down in 10 years. HE gets the same size every time. These were quite small. I didn't send them back because I washed them beforehand. XL was rather small

    Runs very little, especially if you have muscles

    I totally understand what compression is. I have these Under Armor compression shirts from a few years ago. I ordered the same size and one size larger. I couldn't even throw shirts of the same size over my shoulders. They are made for thinner bodies, thinner bodies (I'm not overweight). I left the larger size and rolled up the sleeves at the end so they were the right length.

    Wow too small. I'm a true XL and it got me hot, wrapped in twine, ready for the oven! My wife, a psychic, also had trouble putting on a shirt. Be sure to order AT LEAST one size up, if not two.

    Ridiculously tight - my new review

    It's like putting a set of adult-sized sleeves on a child-sized t-shirt. Too tight in the chest. I have since bought the same size from Under Armor and it fits. Probably bad inventory.

    Compression shirts are tight.

    I love these shirts. Great base layer for the winter and fits as expected. I'm 6'5", 210 lbs and usually wear a large (if it's a fitted shirt). I've been wearing UA Compression since 2010 and learned to wear XL early due to the compression.
