Good filter! worth every penny.

Works very well I hate cleaning my aquarium and I have to say it keeps the fish shit clean and doesn't leave it on the bottom. May I add that I only use this as a filter, nothing more is needed as an external filter, it also saves money on buying filter cartridges and it saves money on my electricity bills as I have already used an air pump for oxygen and bubbles. It's easy to install, just connect it to the air pump and it's a bubbler too. All I did was add water and scrub the jar with garbage

I like the idea, but poorly implemented.

I was happy to receive this filter. Seems to me that this is a good combination of a sponge filter and a canister filter. When I opened the package I found a few things I didn't like. I will also talk about them in the video. First, there are a few manufacturing flaws in the plastic. The one who skips the gravel. Second, the plastic is hard and can break. Other reviews have confirmed how brittle the plastic is. Third, I'm not 100% sure if the diagram on the box is wrong or the production is…

So far, so good! Excellent price.

I bought two of these to replace two large foam filters which I really liked but wanted something less obtrusive in the aquarium. Very happy with its size and the fact that it includes mechanical filtration. big and I like that they hide in the corner. I wish the exhaust pipe was expandable. I put them in a 55 gallon tank and the outlet doesn't reach the waterline. The outlet tubes on my old sponge filter could be pulled out to accommodate different heights, which I really liked (so I could…

They work and are disassembled for cleaning

I bought two of these filters. One for each of my two small tanks (10 and 15 gallons). Both have live plants, 2-3 small goldfish, 2 measles, some tetras and shrimp. The filters in the aquariums worked well until the goldfish were added. The water gradually turned yellowish and green algae grew. The filters can be completely dismantled, so I took them apart, removed the biofilter stones from both compartments and added charcoal. Since then the water has been clear (3 months have passed). I have…

Cons
  • There are cons

First of all, I am a breeder/wholesaler of angelfish and discus. There for over 30 years. Over the last 5 years, my municipal water company has gone from strength to strength with its chemistry. Our water has always had a slightly alkaline pH (7.2), but in recent years the pH in my pools has started to drop dramatically due to the decrease in lime hardness. To compensate I used crushed coral/aragonite in medium bags to increase the KH and keep the PH stable. KH/PH buffer to keep my aquariums…
