A great toy even for very demanding and spoiled parrots!

My parrot and I really liked the toy. She destroys it within a few days, but that's the whole point. They are cheap so I can buy a lot more. She's spoiled and it was one of the favorite things she liked. I love that you get two instead of a huge one. Will definitely buy this again!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Thin

Sassy likes this: Toy

My parrot isn't great but as always he was a little apprehensive at first but he's tried. I like him the way he is, if you put a rope on him you can just walk away without anything. The naughty one would cut the rope and still not be one, so I like it the way it is. Sassy is an eclectus, I don't know if it matters, but she loves to cut rope, rope and anything else she can.

  • Great Price

Too dangerous for birds

This toy is not suitable for Gray Parrots or other birds of this size. It's very dangerous. The clips are too small and weak even for cockatiels. You might catch her beak. The bell is small, more for a canary. The wire is too soft and pliable. The only way to save this toy is to take it apart. I wouldn't say it's a waste of money because I'll be using the components with another pre-made toy for them. NO, I would not recommend this purchase.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not sure

Porous stone is more abrasive than calcium

I like a stone that should be more effective than soft calcium. You asked for rope instead of metal brackets. My Graua quickly gnaws through the rope. I hung it up about an hour ago and she's already chewing on it, so I'd say the important creature loves it. I have Harbing clips that I put through a knot for hanging. It's also harder to hang up if you need to tie ropes as my bird is very attached to its cage.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Damaged

My birds love pumice stone

Good product I have replaced the rope with a zip tie as I have replaced all the small metal clips and rope on all my bird toys. The rope was soft and snuggly, but I'm just afraid of returning home in a disaster, but small-beaked pumice stones are excellent and my birds use them quite a bit. I would like to see a better quality of the bell, especially the small flat metal part in the middle was not very good, the edges are so thin that with a little modification it could be a great product

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Not for large parrots

I ordered this for my gray parrot hoping to help with beak trimming. Based on the photos, the item appeared to be larger than it actually was and was stated to be intended for parrots. When I received the item I was disappointed with the size. The toy is clearly not for large parrots. Maybe a budgie or cockatiel, but not a parrot. My African Gray would destroy this toy in minutes it was so small. Very disappointing. I'm not even sure if it's suitable for poultry as it says on the packaging for…
