So far so good with aquarium heaters

I took a chance on buying a new heater and am glad I did. I keep 3 separate temp gauges for my tanks and it's exactly the temp it should be, no weird fluctuations. The included suction cups are more than enough to get the job done so it's great value for money. 👍

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • will be added later

Parts were missing on arrival

Heater works great, nice design easy to hide but the box has been opened and there are no suction cups and clamps to attach the heater to the tank anyway It was worth it , not to go to the fish store and buy it. I don't know, now I have to improvise the mounting system

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not bad

The suction cups are not very good

I followed the picture (everything can not be loaded) Caution! The suction cups floated further away and I left them attached to my 20 gallon tank for a few days, the temp itself felt warm but my tank didn't get hot. I set it to 72 degrees. Maybe I did something wrong? In any case, I had the feeling that there are better products.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • piggy bank price

Great heaters for 20 gallon aquariums

These are great heaters for 20 gallon aquariums. I bought 2 and preset them with a dial then I added them, the suction cups are very strong, the preset on them isn't accurate, I had to lift one slightly, this is my 5th of them, they are great and last well, my first two work fine, they were for extra tanks.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Excellent temperature control

I've tried Aqueon heaters and to be honest they suck. They stop working after about a month. Instead I found and tried this one and I'm not transferring all my tanks to this brand. It's much more reliable, keeps the tank at a constant temperature and I like that I can regulate the temperature. Definitely recommend this to anyone you find at Petco/petsmart!

Yes. Correctly! suitable for aquarium heater

I read the bad reviews and thought yes. I bought 2 of these last week. They were both set at 83 degrees. They heated the water around them so that it literally boiled on the glass of the heater. Then both of them cracked leaving glass on the bottom of both of my aquariums. I pulled a fish out of one of those burnt tanks yesterday and couldn't figure out what the problem was; Since all the water was ok, the exact feeling is a little warm. Now I know

  • very good price
Cons
  • ugly packaging

May work or not.

I was so happy to get this thermometer it seemed so easy to use. Set and forget! I took my old factory temperature setting, suitable for my freshwater aquarium, and inserted it. I've been struggling to set it at 76-78° for two days now, it's either too hot, once at 79.8°, or too low at 74°. I ended up replacing my old one with this one again. So far with my old temperature correct. Received very quickly and was satisfied with the service, the heating is not very good. Just make sure you have a…

inferior quality. suitable for aquarium heater

I am very dissatisfied with this heater. I ordered this for my smaller aquarium (30g) and guess what, one morning the water was all green. The fish were ok. I thought this aquatic plant produced algae, so I threw the plant into a nearby stream. 75% water changed. The fish was ok. A few days later the water turned pitch green again. I put the fish in my large aquarium (60g) and noticed that the heater had burst. It was glass at the bottom of the tank. Cleaning the entire tank was a nightmare…
