It was difficult to get the PVC into the adapter and I gave up.

I wanted to use these on the side of a 50 gallon keg, put a piece of PVC in it and make a filter. We didn't want to use PVC. We used a plank hammer and hit it. I love this concept, maybe I could bring it in with the best size of material I've used. Instead, I used my regular volume head fittings.

Pros
  • Pipe fittings
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Great for my purpose

I am using this for a slightly different purpose than what it was made for. I have PVC piping for a future bathroom protruding from the concrete floor in my basement gym. I was laying HDL decking and had to cut the pipe. I use an o-ring to cut the pipe and hide the cutouts in the bottom. I'm going to paint the chimney black and put on a pair of boots until I decide to add a bathroom. It works great and fits the industrial style I wanted to create in the basement.

Pros
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Plumbing
Cons
  • Not sure

VERY difficult to install but it works

What finally worked for me was sanding the first two inches of a 2 inch PVC pipe and spraying the pipe with silicone spray. First the seal must be installed, then the leading edge of the pipe must be chamfered enough to allow the pipe to enter the installed seal with some pressure. Then tapping with a rubber mallet and twisting the pipe will help. The electric grinder worked fine, but MUST WEAR A MASK.

Pros
  • Bulkhead Fittings
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time
