Good quality hose, flexible and heat resistant. It came very clean and in a plastic packaging that protected it from the outside elements. I used it for an automotive project where it is used for a PCV vacuum line and a brake booster vacuum line.

Although not listed for this hose, the EVAP system is ideal for this purpose. Since it is silicone, it can withstand high temperatures. under the hood in the engine compartment. The problem with the hoses changes. The hose is thick enough to withstand internal pressures lower than external air pressures of 0.999 bar or 14 psi. Finally, the inner diameter is correct, which is very important when using this hose.

Replaced old dry vacuum hoses on my 2008 Saab 9-5 2.3T with these 4mm blue silicone hoses. Fits well and looks good on the engine. I didn't attach them to the connectors as the originals weren't pinched, but I did zip the longer sections together for a clean job. I'll review them over time as they age just in case clips are needed in the connector ports. I watched youtube videos on how to do the job properly. Very happy with this product and would recommend for similar use in any vehicle.

As the description says the hose I received is larger than stated and in an application such as a vacuum line on a turbocharged engine it is imperative that he is stuck. Unfortunately I can return it but I will be expected to cover the return postage costs which are equal to the value of the item. At least it stretches and fits over larger gauges with some effort so I can use it on other cars. As a side note, I also ordered 10mm and it fits great.
