After trying unsuccessfully to order a new cap, I accidentally saw this ad on Revain. The pen-pen arrived quickly and the pen/pen I received fit perfectly. We have an oval crockpot cap that needs a replacement grip. I found this and read user responses saying this would work on a cover like this. Well, that's not entirely true. Of course it fits on the lid where it belongs. However, the secondary opening in the lid remains uncovered/unsealed. Without plugging this hole, the whole reason for Crockpot is lost. Purchased for use on a metal pot lid. Perfect. Can't say this isn't the original cover. Even after fully tightening there was a small gap (I think it's made for thicker lids like glass, not thinner metal lids). I added the washer from the original handle to the washers that came with the new one and then it fitted perfectly. The thread in the handle that I received is metal. This is good because you're less likely to strip them off when tightening the screw, unlike the plastic threads I've read
