Good product! Best in Belts, Hoses and Pulleys

Bought together with some Russell -6AN hose ends. I used it to adapt the stock chassis fuel lines to a 6.0L Chevy LQ4 in a TBI K5 Blazer. The hose can withstand up to 60psi of gas flowing through it, as well as heat near the engine and exhaust.

Cons

NOT AN6 Area: Fuel

AN hose fittings are designed to accept X size OD hose. This hose has a 3/8" ID instead of the 5/16" required for the AN6. To top it off, the sleeve of this hose is FIXED to the inner hose, making it impossible for it to detach and fit into a mating AN fitting. What it is good for, one can only guess.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Problem

A leak has occurred. the best in fuel

Literally after 30-40 minutes of operation, the hose began to flow. Not on the fit, but directly on the braid. Big leak. The fuel tank should now go back to replace the hose. The whole truck is full of this hose and now I can't trust anyone. I don't think the fuel system is the best place to try to save some money.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

-6 Hose AN not in spec.

Late EFI truck repair (we make a living on it) and managed to make the last 6 feet where our roll ended. It's out of specification. None of the Earl or Summit Racing -6 brand hose tips will fit (it's TOO BIG). The same ends will fit over 10 other -6AN types of scrap that are in the business that just won't go through the end of this hose. I had it delivered to avoid having to drive to my local perf store, but I had to do it anyway. At least all of their -6 hoses actually work with -6 fittings…

  • Sleek design

Burst at less than 90 psi

Easy to work with and beautiful. instead of a hard line. Unfortunately, when we first tested the fuel delivery system with the pump in the 90psi tank, that hose ruptured mid-barrel (not near a fitting). It was a severe tear, not a pitted leak. Luckily this happened during assembly when I had full access to everything and not after the truck was fully assembled or on the road. I will be returning the unused hose (bought a total of 3 x 20ft) and will look for a higher quality alternative. I…

  • Pleasant to use

Good line but not very good control

I bought two 20ft fuel line segments for my 2006 GS300. One of them is clearly out of specification. The outside diameter of the 6AN line should be between 13.7 mm (0.54 in) and 14 mm (0.55 in) and measured as the 14.4 mm (0.567 in) outside diameter of the line. However, for those who aren't in the know, this doesn't seem like such a big deal. This meant the reel was virtually unusable. Every fitting I tried to turn was wrinkled and crumpled the end of the hose rather than slipping off, even…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Braid keeps unraveling, glue not under all braids

After doing duct tape and cutting the thing about 10 times I've used about 2ft of tubing and it's still falling apart EVERY TIME if not already after 30 seconds later it will happen. I found there was about a foot of glue in the tube but not through. Once you get to the glue it will hold SLIGHTLY better, but after a minute it's still coming off. I have already bought all AN fittings to use this hose. I'll either have to buy another braided hose or get a solid rubber hose and be left with a box…
