These are decent bars for $20, but be aware that this is an ergonomic bar, not a "Maes" bend like in some of the illustrations shown. Update: Looks like the descriptions have been updated to show the shape differences between bands 25.4 and 31.8. Much clearer now; 25.4 is the classic curved shape and 31.8 is the ergo shape.

This works well to turn my bike into handlebars. My only complaint is that there isn't enough choice in the width of the bars as they are about an inch too small, although otherwise they work perfectly. I can't fault the product as I knew the sizes before ordering, but for the money it was a great buy. I recommend it!

I bought these to fit a gravel bike I built from an old mountain bike. I needed a handlebar that would work with a 25.4mm stem. They are light and the quality seems good. The reach is longer than I expected and they bend down sharply when leaning toward the drops. I attach levers to it and it was difficult to comfortably line up the levers given how steep the turns are. In fact, for the price you really can't beat them.

The drop bar is sized perfectly for fixies in the middle where the stem holds the bar but the drop grips are too narrow! They are not standardized. None of the bar tape end caps fit them, I've even been to a bike shop and they said bars are never that narrow, it also makes riding very uncomfortable after wrapping as narrow bars are very difficult to grab. I put it on a bike that I rebuilt and edited over the summer, so didn't actually ride until the return window was up. I think it will just be

Off center bar. See photos. The blue band marks the approximate transition point of the diameter. In one picture the steering wheel is aligned with the marks, in the other it is set to the actual center. Using the markers on the "center" of the handlebar, my handlebar was about 1cm off center. Didn't notice until the tape was applied and cut. This is the only handlebar I've ever encountered where this was an issue. The 25.4mm center section is wide and thick enough for my aero clamps. Mountain bike V-brake levers (with flexible plastic clips) mount on and around the corner. These angle arms require too much reach when mounted from the front, so I moved them up. The steering wheel is surprisingly light. A word of caution for those who may not know, these are somewhat unusual dimensions for handlebars, particularly the grip diameter of 22.2mm (7/8 Customs service). . . This is the standard grip diameter for mountain and BMX bars and has historically been a fairly common size for steel bars, but they are made from aluminum alloy.
