Perfect form in transmission and transmission

The form is perfect. No chips or ridges or anything wrong with mold. The frying pan fitted perfectly and was precisely tailored to the Jetta. Went smoothly and fit like a glove. No leaks. Great prices too!

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No

Good quality pans and drain plugs

This oil pan is very similar to original equipment. Fits perfectly. There were small pieces of metal in the pan that I wiped off with a wet rag. Also make sure you have a ball end hex wrench or swing wrench for the two screws hidden in the center of the gear box.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I will add later

Perfect fit for gearbox and transmission

Purchased for my GFS car (2000 VW Beetle) Her car had the drain plug unthreaded so I replaced the whole oil pan. The pallet is completed with a drain plug (bolt) and a washer. Installation was pretty easy, everything fit perfectly. I would recommend buying an oil pan gasket as well as a gasket maker.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Compatibility

Make sure you have the right tool

The oil pan was fine. It fits perfectly. A few Tipps; Do not purchase a gasket as its thickness will not allow the 3 bell body screws to align properly. I used a black RTV with no leaks. Make sure you have a ball end hex key of at least 5mm. It is better to take a 5mm Allen key. There are 2 you must have it for.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I don't remember

good quality, perfect fit

Good quality and perfect fit. It arrived with a gasket and RTV silicone sealant. You don't need both and you should never use gasket and sealant together! Only use one of these. I used RTV sealant. It's easy to replace a broken oil pan. To take the old one and install the new one, you'll need a 5mm 3/8" hex wrench in addition to the 10mm and 16mm socket wrenches.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • no automatic

Problems with the drain plug. for parts

What I bought sat on my shelf for months before I got to my oil change interval to change what was on the leaking car. So far this one is working. Mainly because of the thread of the drain plug. They are drilled too large so the plug cannot be tightened enough to prevent leakage without fear of stripping the threads, which happened to my previous owner.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The quality is worse than the original but it works.

Work on VW Golf MK4 TDI BEW 2006. You get what you pay for. It's definitely an inferior/thinner material than the original, which worries me a little since these pans hang so low. Also, there were metal shavings on the bottom of the pan and on the threads of the drain plug that I had to spend some time cleaning. Obviously going over the engine wouldn't be good. I have a tank plate to prevent it from being damaged again.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Zero

The oil pan does what it is supposed to. Only .

The oil pan does what it should. The only downside, and not the manufacturer's fault, is that there are four bolts on the side of the gearbox that line up with the edge of the flywheel. It was a pain. To get the bolts out I had to use the hex wrench portion of the bolt to loosen the bolts. The palette formed a leak when everything was installed due to a broken hairline through the fault of the manufacturer. (Pots are $50, so that's to be expected). A few coats of JB Weld and the leaks are gone.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

This pan fit perfectly and worked perfectly

This pan fit perfectly and worked perfectly. Until I hit another road debris. AS you probably already know by reading this, TDI oil pans hang too low. Combined with aluminum castings this usually results in oil splattering all over the road rather than the engine where it belongs and failure to catch it in time will result in engine failure. I am not neglecting this product in any way, it fits and works exactly as intended, the problem is the VW engineering. Coincidentally, in other countries…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
