URO Parts 11361705532: VANOS System Oil Line Feed Hose for Cylinder Head Review

I replaced the oil filter system gasket and changed this hose while I was at it. Remember that when replacing the hose you will need four new banjo bolt expansion washers (extra expansion washers are a good idea). I replaced a hose on my 2000 BMW 528i van.

Installation is easy and takes 20 minutes if you know what you are doing. Two bolts and you're done, so be careful with the breather tube next to the URO oil line as it breaks easily. This was used on a 2001 BMW e46 325CI and stopped the oil leak in place. Be sure to purchase (4) new washers to replace the old ones or you may have to deal with leaks again.

I was able to easily install this on a 2004 BMW 330i E46 for my son. The generator does not have to be removed, just ventilate the housing. I bought new copper washers, they work fine. No leakage after 2 weeks of use. The old hose was BMW original and leaked at the hose to the banjo compression fitting at the bottom. You need a headlight to see well.

Delivery was fast, item fits perfectly. My only reservation is about using Revain's parts finder. He gave me the wrong part number for this app. For some parts like this, the correct part depends on the month the car was manufactured. I had to go to realoem.com to check my VIN to make sure it was the correct part number. Because of this, Revain's part finder told me it would not fit my 1997 BMW 328i.
