Fits like a glove! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the kit didn't come with the special tool I expected and 2 because the deburring of the protective case was done poorly. Fully functional

I'm hoping this is a rare problem but on my machine the latch on the key recognition mechanism - the part that sticks out at the back - wasn't moving properly. Result? The car thinks you left the key in the ignition even after you pulled it out, causing a warning buzzer to pierce your ears. The locking mechanism seemed otherwise perfect. I was able to fix my old one, so I didn't try the second one from URO.

I saved myself a lot of money buying this so I paid a few extra bucks and got it the next day which gave me time, the many instructions Watch videos on YouTube for installing a Mercedes lock cylinder. Armed with my newfound knowledge of how to remove the old lock cylinder (beveled hangers), I installed this new cylinder in no time. Light cake. There were no instructions or anything like that in the kit, just a lock and key in the box so I suggest you watch the video to familiarize yourself with
