Decent welding cable connector for the money.

I only weld as a hobby and when I need to fix something around the house. This plug is suitable for my purposes. Probably wouldn't survive commercial use, but works for me. Now I can roll up the cables and stow them away instead of constantly tying them to the car.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Very expensive

waste of money. Will never buy again

Will never buy these plugs again. I got them in the mail and went out to put the #1 wire on, they said they fit #1-1/0 and I took the buttons off and put the wire in the conductor, and the button does not fit back. That. So I connected them and wanted to photograph them together, but they don't match. waste of money.

Pros
  • Welders and accessories
Cons
  • thin

Good connector - Welding equipment and accessories

Easy to connect and good quality. The "exposed" screw that some reviewers complain about actually sinks 1/8" into the case when you screw it all the way in (it's flush since you have to remove it to attach the cable). For the voltages they work with, this isn't a problem, it's also easy to wrap with electrical tape.
