This is a great value for the money! I had purchased one locally that broke a week after I bought it and the blade was not sharp enough to get through larger pills. We received this today. we are very happy with it. I immediately tried it on a couple of my pills that I routinely cut down. Works perfectly. About the only thing I can say is for me personally I had a little bit of difficulty seeing inside the chopper because of the darker color in the plastic. I think that is just me though. One of the pills I cut in error was designed to be quickly absorbed. Like you can pinch it and have the edges crumble in your fingers. I believe this may be the reason for some users having difficulty with the product not able to cut a finely or accurately. The razor isn't sharp enough for some pills. I am still happy with the product though. It cuts my intended pill just fine.

Love the concept and the pill set up area. However after about a dozen pills split the blade became dull. Pills were not split evenly and had shreds on the edges. Have not used the second splitter yet (2 purchased together). Hopefully, that one will give me better results.

Have been able to cut through these thick allergy pills with ease. Love that got 2 with order. I can save one for cutting my dog's heartworm medicine.

This is light weight and easy to use. but, the pills aren't cut evenly. and for prescription medication that's an important detail.

These pill cutters work fine. I have noticed if you give it a quick snap, the pill is cut in two cleanly. But if you cut slowly, the pill is more likly to crumble.

Since caring for my elderly parents several years ago, I have purchased many pill cutters and they never last very long. THIS PILL CUTTER IS AMAZING. Very sturdy and easy to cut various sizes of pills accurately. It doesn't have a protective sheet over the razer and it easy to hold while cutting. Very good product!

My husband told me we did not need this but after getting it he admitted how much easier this is. He no longer needs to get his glasses on to go cut a pill for the dogs medicine.

I like how if you look at it say a couple of times, all you have to do is line it up with the line along the pill, press and walla, fresh clean cut.

I purchased this specifically to split large calcium pills, and it works very well! It is sturdy, easy to use, opens easily (but also stays closed well), has housing around the blade that is an added safety feature, and contains a storage area for the cut pills that also prevents them from flying out during the cutting process.

Bought this so I could use one for myself and one for my pet's medication.The pills that I've cut in each of these units are oval pills and I've had issues with one of the units where no matter where I place it on the cutting line, it doesn't cut all the way through the pill. I tested this in the other pill cutter and it cut cleanly through without an issue. At 6.88 for two you can’t really go wrong. Stop looking through at all the available pill cutters and just buy these. They work great and packing was excellent.

I have pills that are considerably smaller than 1/4". I need to cut these into quarters and this splitter partially crushes and splits them. I tried moving the pills out away from the back and manually lining them up and that helps a little. They work great on pills that are at least 1/4".

I got this product because I have to constantly cut pills I have and most times they aren’t exactly proportioned like I want them, this pill cutter cuts them in half almost perfectly as long as you put the pill in the correct place:) I’m also glad that this came with 2 pill cutters, I would recommend this

Works well on softer pills. I found that if you cut slowly rather than a quick cut, it does a better job and leaves less of the pill in crumbles. Does not open 90 degrees to keep the inept from cutting themselves on the knife; some dexterity is needed to get pill in place for cutting. Easily lines up round pills for an accurate 50/50 cut. No good way to make 25 percent cuts with this unit.
