Works like clockwork

My previous USB hub had problems with USB 3.0 interference from my latest external hard drive with my old external hard drives. He immediately solved these problems completely. The cable could be longer, but for me it's not critical. And having all those USB ports is great. The only issue I have with the hub is that the LED lights don't have dimmers. I understand they're on to indicate USB is active, but they don't turn off when I put the computer to sleep, and since my computer is in my room…

Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

It works but NOT as expected.

Works. That is the point. It's beautiful with blue light and practical with switches. What I don't like is that. (And I have other hubs that don't have these problems) 1) The printer doesn't work at all through the hub. 2) The cable is not short and not long. It's too long to stay close to the laptop without getting in the way (when folded on its own) and too short to move it out of the way. It would be better if it was longer or shorter. It's just the wrong length. 3) When you turn on the…

DC power adapter not included.

The USB hub includes a port where you can connect a DC power supply (right next to the enhanced microUSB port where the USB cable connects). They do not include a DC power supply and the connector is unlabeled. to indicate what DC voltage is expected/required. I would guess that USB normally transfers 5V, but you're on your own if you decide to just plug something in and see if it works. It seems to work quite well as an unpowered USB hub. This means that the devices connected to it must be…

  • Works with almost all devices with a USB port: computers, laptops, Macbooks, laptops, Chromebooks, smartphones, tablets, iPads, game consoles.
Cons

Easy connection loosening by loosening the input port

The input port from the PC to the hub was so loose that the slightest movement could break the connection, I bought 4 ports a year ago, I have the same problem (3 ports still work, 1 fails, all LEDs don't light up), try again (tried another hub, it doesn't work for my setup), 7 ports have the same connection problem, I can feel loose when I first connect the cable, so when I it need to connect something to multiple drives already connected, causing the other drives to disconnect together, also…

Pros
  • Performance Optimization: Each individual port has a power button that allows you to turn off the power to unused ports.
Cons
  • Almost never
