Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confirm this UV light is disappointing. The design is flimsy and the light output is weak. While it may have uses in other industries, it's not a valuable tool for the automotive industry. Save your money and invest in a higher quality UV light.

It's not as bright as its 100-watt larger sibling, but still does the job well. If I had known that I would have paid extra money and bought 100 watts. I'm sure it will last 10-12 years during the air conditioning maintenance season like its big brother in hot Phoenix.

Just bought this item and it works very well and easy to hook up as it is 12 volts. But the instructions say to change it every two years. I didn't know these bulbs had an expiration date, or maybe it's just the brand. I bought it with the intention of using it for many years. Let's see how long it lasts I think.
