Yes, the price is too good to be true. My experience is similar to the first reviewer (which I read AFTER the purchase). The lock nut slips and the bearing flies out. In addition, the quality of the cut to failure was poor, with a lot of tearing in the poplar. Unlike the first reviewer, my two pack contained two, both of which I sent back for credit. They have a brand name "LuSun" that even Google hasn't heard of. Time to spend real money on a famous brand. Sigh.

Not yet used. After reading some very bad reviews the first thing I did when I received them was take the pilot bearing off and lubricate it, both pilot bearings came off with no problem. I saw a review where the bits weren't 3 inches long but the ones I got were such I didn't understand how anyone could get a different length. The bit is not as good as a 1/2 inch shank due to vibration and wear. I find it to be ok for light work, not long term use.

This is a good buy I know they are from China but this is one of their best products. The knives I received were packaged the same as Sears, Lowes or Home Depot, the blades were neatly attached to the shaft and not like other knives made in China, the soldering or welding was fully visible and always obvious. The blue color between the cutting surface and the shank was uniform. The cutting surfaces appear to be decent steel (I've only cut wood and can't be sure I cut anything harder). .a while.
