Enhanced Performance: uxcell 5V 85dB Industrial Active Electronic Alarm Buzzer - Set of 15 Review

These electronic buzzers are perfect for a lost RC quad model. The buzzers are loud enough to find your model and very compact in size. I would highly recommend them to all ATV lovers.

Works great and is extremely cheap. Noise sounds very rough, but it is nice and loud and can produce different tones. Don't expect to use them to play music - they're designed for buzzers and they do a great job.

They work well for my drone as a location indicator. They're not very loud, at first I wanted it louder, but I didn't seem to mind how often the buzzer went off in the house. If I need to find him in the field, I can hear him about 75 feet away. That's enough if I have an idea where I fell, which is what I usually do.

I tested 3 kits out of 15 and none of them worked at 5VDC. They sometimes worked at higher voltages like 9 or 12 VDC but were not reliable. I wasted my time fitting the part into a model airplane (should have tested it first) only to find out it didn't work and had to cancel the order and now I'm looking for a replacement part. I'm assuming this is a production line defect, hence they have ambiguous 5VDC and 6-24VDC voltage ratings.

Tested 5 so far, none worked at 5 volts until I got frustrated with one and upped the voltage to try and kill it. It wouldn't die! And the best part is that it now runs on 5 volts, I think I taught it a lesson lol. I've tried many different voltages, but the best thing that worked for me was increasing it to 12V, then decreasing it to 0V, then back to 12V and then turning it off.
