Terrible quality thumb nuts for DIY

I purchased these for a DIY project and was thoroughly disappointed. The nuts were poorly manufactured and didn't provide a secure grip, causing my project to fail. The only positive was the quick delivery time. However, I ended up having to purchase higher quality nuts from a different brand. Not worth the hassle.

Pros
  • Quick delivery time
Cons
  • Poor manufacturing, unreliable grip

Bent holes on fasteners

Threaded holes in knurled knobs were not at 90 degrees to the surface. As a result, the handle swayed greatly when screwed onto the bolt. Useless! Bad quality control.

Works well with bike tube clamp

I lost one of the black plastic grips that attached the Cycliq tube tube to the handlebars. Turns out the U-bolt holding it to the bike is metric, so finding a replacement wasn't that easy. I'm going to add a star washer to the U-bolt to make sure they don't come loose while riding.
