Item not as described. Section 4.4 (2) of the user manual describes the use of a non-existent or non-functioning locking function. I have used several of these endoscopes and they all had this feature as stated in the attached product description.

Looks like a good endoscope. I haven't tried it in the "real world" yet, but I've experimented with it by looking at the floor of my desk, sitting there, peeking in a dark closet through a cracked door, etc. It communicated with my iPhone Wi-Fi with an adapter, and even this 70-year-old holdover from the non-tech era proved easy to use. I look at pictures, take photos and videos with my iPhone and save the pictures to my picture library when I'm done browsing. That's fun!

Good video. Works with my iPhone but not the iPad. The button on the cable for taking pictures does not work. Worst of all is the complete lack of factory support. There is no phone number in the documentation or on their website. Your website has a section for questions. I asked for help several times, but in the two months that I had this endoscope, there was no answer. Very frustrating after spending $300 as a little help could probably solve my problems.

Haven't used the instrument in real life yet. Just test with my iPhone via the included Wi-Fi connection box. The connection was a breeze. The picture is clear and bright even in very dark places. The device comes in a "cheap" but protective aluminum case with foam cutouts. The manual is short, but there is not much to understand: the operation is simple. I use this microscope to inspect aircraft engine exhaust valves. It does its job well and has a very attractive price. However, it takes some time to get used to using each camera upside down and backwards. Also, there is some lag between moving the probe and changing the image on the iPad screen, so slowly changing the camera angle works best.
