This scope was recommended to me by professional aircraft mechanics at an aviation maintenance shop. They demonstrated the device's ability to test aircraft cylinders, pistons and valves. This range is phenomenal. Some of the relevant features; 180 degree swivel head for inspecting intake and exhaust valves without using mirrors, adjustable intensity LED lighting around the camera tip, small diameter for access to the spark plug holes, wireless capability to view and record videos or photos on a tablet (iOS or Android), color so you can make a real assessment of the exhaust valves and last but not least the price. I've tried other endoscopes with mirrors that seemed to reflect the light source into the camera head, blocking the field of view. I bought a used expensive airplane sight from a well known brand which price was very disappointing as I only had a small black and white eyepiece to check. I've been looking for a good inspection scope for years and have finally found what I consider to be a better scope than the one in my shop. If you intend to use this scope to inspect aircraft cylinder components, I highly recommend downloading the free ASI poster called Anatomy of Valve Failure. And, of course, talk to professional aircraft mechanics about the awesome screenshots you take with this peer-reviewed scope.
