We use this hose cap when we store our hose in our RV. This is perfect for keeping the hose closed when travelling. No more puddles of water under the hose basket.

So far it does what I want it to do which is keep things out of my trailer's plumbing flush fitting. I don't know yet how long it will take. Seems well done. The time will show.

My city water connection on our RV was leaking when not connected to a hose. We always use reservoirs so I just needed something to caulk where the hose would normally go to stop the slow leak. It works exactly as I expected, no more leaking.

I use it on the inlet of my washing machine to keep sand, grass and dirt out during storage or transport. In the design of my scrubber, like most, the entrance is at the bottom from the back. This means if I use the handle to drag it around the RV, it tips over and the threaded entry scrapes the grass. Bad design!
