Great product for engine parts

I like it. Makes do-it-yourself oil changes faster, easier and cleaner. No more worrying about over-tightening and thread damage.

Pros

Cons
  • I don't remember

Leaks after 3120 miles

Installed at 5000 miles. On the odometer, 8120km began to leak. The floor in my garage is full of oil. Now I have to change the oil 2,000 km earlier and put the factory spark plug back in.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Update available

An easy way to change your oil.

I like the idea of an oil change. You do not need to lift the screw to drain the oil. Just unscrew the cap and it will flow out. This is the best I've seen, it's the easiest way to drain oil. Others have a spring-loaded handle that can be damaged.

Pros
  • Nice design
Cons
  • Hard to say

WILL NOT FIT engines or engine parts

Although Revain said it would fit, I checked a number of ValvoMax websites for the right size for my 2010 Mercury Milan 3.0L engine and both sites recommended it . M12-1.75 connector not tightened to recommended torque of 8-10 ft-lbs. she just kept turning. I ended up putting my old connector back in and sending the ValvoMax connector back.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great product! - Oil drain plugs

WHY didn't I find this earlier?!? Made my oil change so easy and hassle free. I try to change the oil while it's hot so most of the particles get washed out with the old oil, making the process so easy and preventing burns. The drain valve screws in easily and the drain hose goes straight into my waste oil container. The price is great and the quality is even better. Well done ValvoMax!

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Null

Should it fit my 2017 F-150? Not yet.

Instructions state to replace the existing drain plug with the ValvoMax. My '17 F-150 has a cover over the drain so the plastic plug comes through with a half turn and gets in the way of the insert. The thread does not reach the internal thread of the oil pan. Is the cover removable? Is an adapter required? I have a ValvoMax VM12-1.75 that was listed for this truck. Please help me!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Junk doesn't even come close to fitting in my Ford truck

too small doesn't even come close to fitting in my truck Valve steel ValvoMax waited until it was time to change the oil in my truck, the plug on Valvo max was small, on my f-150 it was about 1/2 inch or maybe more and the screw on ValoMac about 3/8 inch and when changing it was too late to return the oil so I threw money away

Pros
  • stylish and modern design
Cons
  • a little dented

I love it so far. It's been several months now!

I installed this on my 2006 Ford Escape XLT with a 3.0 liter engine. Cleans well, doesn't lag and I honestly find it a lot easier to change the oil now and they're a lot cleaner. When I installed this I carefully secured it with blue Loctite so it wouldn't fall out when the lid was opened. Tight enough that it won't come out, but not too tight that it doesn't tear. Now to get one of these the right size for my custom 1980 F150 with 4.9L inline-6 engine.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Oil change made easy

Changing the oil on my 2012 Colorado is a real PIA. Whether it's draining the pan or removing/installing the filter, Chevy has gone to great lengths to ensure the oil goes everywhere but the drain pan. I've seen different types of drainpipes commercially available but many designs tend to stick out/hang. down far enough to catch on curbs, rocks, etc. Not suitable for off-road use. Also, if the valve itself fails, all your oil will be wasted down the road. Ouch! This design seems more logical to

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
