is just what I need to finish the rear camera installation. I connected power and signal from the reversing lamp wiring, but in new European vehicles with CANBUS the voltage drops when the engine is running and the camera is turned off. I used this relay system to safely power the camera with a switchable 12V power supply. worked perfectly!

I really like the idea of a built in load lock, it saves a headache when hooking up something new. I wish it had one for the coil chain too. I also like the mounting tabs that allow the relay to be mounted or not. Not happy with the color of the wires on the plug but can live with that. I like to have additional materials on hand for future projects.

Update. I've been using them in my jeep for 2-3 years. Never had a problem. Yes, they get used to it. My jeep is my daily driver but he is also on the route 2-3 times a month. Of course, they are not in constant use. Mainly used for various lights. Others are for the air compressor, locker activation, cooling fan, etc. I also installed these in my son's jeep and am installing more. I always buy them. Even under the most adverse conditions, they have never failed.
