Good speaker for tight spaces

The sound quality corresponds to the size and price of this speaker. I can say that it is good value for money. If you're short on space, you're simply limited by the size of speaker you can use. I think this is an improvement over the tiny built in speaker on my VHF and UHF cellphones.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Works as expected - Coaxial speakers

I recently installed a Uniden SDS200. Many of the transmissions he received sounded like they were clipped and a bit noisy. So I decided to use this external speaker. This has alleviated the problem. No more hum, no more clipped noise. It's a bit harsh but reads great and does what I want. If it weren't for the harshness, I would give 5 stars.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great little speaker!

I bought this loudspeaker for mobile installation on my Kenwood TM-V71A transceiver. The speaker has much better sound quality than the Kenwood radio and is about twice as loud. The size is ideal for tight vehicle installations. Also, the cable is very long so I don't have to worry about plugging it into the under seat radio in my car and then into the speaker next to the dashboard. this quality speaker.

  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Great speakers for my ham station

I was reconfiguring my ham station and wanted external speakers for each of the six transceivers I use and I wanted them to visually match an external speaker I had already used. I ordered and installed four speakers. 1.) Clear sound with no noise 2.) Improved volume compared to the transceiver's internal speakers. 3.) High quality metal housing, no plastic, eliminating the "plastic hum". 4.) The price is unbeatable.

Pros
  • Outstanding design
Cons
  • Little things

Great sound for my needs

I bought this to add an external speaker to my ham radio in my jeep. It was plug and play and the volume is good. It is small in size and easily hides in my jeep. Not sure about the sound quality for music but for Ham Radio/GMRS/CB applications it's perfect.*************************** ****** * ******************************************** *********** ***** **** ****************************** *************** ********* ********* ************* I rely on that Reviews when I shop, so I spend a lot of

All one star reviews are wrong

I read the reviews and a lot of people said it was quiet, sounds awful etc. I had to laugh when a guy plugged in his TV and said the sound quality was lousy . PEOPLE: This is a speaker designed for amplified two-way radio output such as amateur radio. You cannot input a microphone level signal from a TV or computer audio output without outputting at low volume. The frequency response is designed for a specific set of frequencies used in FM speech modulation. For what it was designed for, it…

Use it for the wrong reasons - love it for the right reasons

is so unlike literally anyone who has ever bought it or plans to; I actually had two of those kids playing CB or PA for very different reasons: I recently moved to a new country quite spontaneously, and those radios served one purpose: to provide a monophonic medium that was playable in the cheapest, most cost-effective way. I use one on my mini PC at home, mostly because I need a way to get it to play sound, but I'm not really keen on buying a whole sound system just yet: it's good on its own…
