Very thin material and regular elastic. Colour .

Very thin material and evenly elastic. The color is not as bright as in the picture. It's actually a pale color. I thought the material was neoprene (waterproof material used in wetsuits) but it's thin nylon/polyester.

Pros
  • EASY TO PUT ON. Thanks to the stretchy fabric and the zipper that runs along the top of the bike, putting the cover on takes less than 30 seconds.

Actually couldn't get it on my bike

I watched the video and paid attention to how to fit it to my bike but still couldn't get it to work. I left it as a seat cover but it won't work for much else. I would go back if I could but I will probably donate to someone I know if they feel like it. I would not recommend that.

Looks good but difficult to put on on the bike without getting the VeloSock dirty and waterproof

Looks like a pretty useless contraption to me. It looks great on a bike. But dress. Oh man it's a fight. I've never managed to put it on without getting a few grease stains on the outside of the cap, which is quite annoying considering this cap is supposed to cover all the grease and dirt on the bike. I see a major disadvantage in the lack of water resistance or waterproofness of the fabric. I'm pretty sure I can't use it if my bike is wet from rain or covered with some snow from a winter ride.
