This one is too heavy for small children to kick up and down and was much more difficult to install. Purchased for a 16 inch kids bike. Installation was easy, but I ended up throwing away the adjustable base because even on the lowest setting, the bike still fell over from being too upright. Removing the base and using just the main body made the bike slim enough, although it could still have been filed down about half an inch to actually support the bike's weight. It will work great for our needs just as it is.

First of all the finish and quality of the stand is very good. But it is described as suitable for 16-20" bikes. In the shortest position it will ONLY fit my son's 20" bike (see picture). Once installed, the bike stands almost upright, so any light breeze that blows blowing the other way, the bike may tip over. You will need an 8mm allen key which may not always be available in every home. Eventually my item arrived scratched and I wouldn't care if it fits. But that's it no, he's coming back.

Nice little kickstand but doesn't fit all 16" bikes. But with a little modification it will be nice. I had to cut 2" from the metal and 2" from the plastic case, then put the case back on and drilled a small hole for the set screw (which I screwed in frontally, but made it cleaner anyway 😁 ). Very happy with the end product. Spring is strong and retains a pink and black color scheme. She also thinks that she is as big a standing as her grandma. Overall 4 stars for the conversion needs.

Can't comment on durability but it can outlive the bike. We had a coral reef girls bike that came with training wheels and no kickstand. It bolts directly into the hole behind the main seatpost in seconds. The screw was long enough that it was easy to install if you had a good set of allen wrenches (the ones with angled ends).
