Suitable for indoor bike storage

Robust, simple, functional design with no frills. As with other products of this type (like the DaHanger), the top drill holes are too wide for both screws to make firm contact with standard US wall studs (2x4 which are actually 1.75x3.5). If you're buying in the US, make sure you research and use one of the suspension methods that other buyers have devised to solve this problem and get a strong and secure mount that will safely support the weight of your bike. Another small issue to mentionโ€ฆ

Sturdy, but the design has flaws and additional work is required to use them effectively

Advantages: 1. These brackets are made of thick metal and are durable.2. The brackets are covered with thick rubber material to avoid scratching the bike.3. Bikes look beautiful on these mounts. Cons: 1. Brackets are screwed to the wall through three V-shaped holes. The distance between the top two holes (center to center) is approximately 1 3/16", which is just under 1.5" the thickness of the 2x4 bolt. Therefore it is very difficult to attach the bracket to a typical wall bar as the holes areโ€ฆ

Complicated installation. otherwise super space saver

I got tired of moving bikes and when they were hung they were either difficult to reach or took up too much space as they were sticking out of the wall. I saw them on my Revain "You Might Also Like" feed and tried them out thinking I could "fit" some bikes into less wall space. Road bikes were used in the ad, which makes sense with handlebars that aren't as wide as mountain bikes. Although the old adage says measure twice, this setup requires a little more modeling from time to time. I'm theโ€ฆ
