Missing parts, best shocks, struts and suspension

Rear hub struts for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, two struts, but one of the fasteners was missing. I only got 3 of 4 to install tailgate stays. I'm hoping that installing just one strut is enough to hold the rear tailgate with the other worn strut and I don't get hit in the head by the tailgate again. If it was a simple screw I wouldn't be so upset, but the rack needs a special screw to hold it in place, so you just don't have to use it.

Excellent quality and easy installation.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 2004 I have only two years and during all this time I have had problems with the tailgate. The shelves were old and didn't do their job well. Especially on cold days I had to support it with something. Then they stopped working completely and I was fed up. They got to my house quickly and installation was easy. My husband is a mechanic but I didn't want to wait for him and did everything myself in 20 minutes. Now my overhead door no longer stays upright, I just have to openโ€ฆ

Perfect replacement for Jeep tailgate piston

fits my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee perfectly and now the tailgate pops open by itself and actually stays up! The factory pistons should have been replaced a few years ago. I installed them myself in about 30 minutes but could do it again in about 10 minutes now that I know what to do. The installation trick was to use a 6 foot ladder to fully open the hatch and then slide the ladder's legs towards the jeep to fully open the hatch. This allowed the piston bolts to line up perfectly with theโ€ฆ

They stand behind their product

I installed luggage racks on my '99 Jeep Grand Cherokee almost a year ago. They have worked fine for 11 months, installed to hold the tailgate. I happened to go skiing and it was very cold at night. The temperature was below zero and I was at 9500 feet. I opened the back door, one of the pillars started hissing and slamming, and the back door started falling. I think the problem came from a combination of very cold air and altitude. I contacted the company and they replaced the shelves free ofโ€ฆ

Don't waste your money and time

Poor quality soft metal torx cap nuts. First, I screwed the existing pre-drilled holes into the car, and the torx bit in the ratchet slipped off, not immediately realizing it had actually dropped! Let me further explain that the top and bottom nuts on the jack must be adjusted at the same time, a few turns at a time. I decided to unscrew the other nut and return the kit. But to my dismay, the other head was also ripped off. Now I need to find a mechanic who knows how to get those nuts out! Iโ€ฆ

I wish I had found her sooner!

I'll admit I'm not very good at repairs of any kind and have been suffering for over 2 years with my tailgate either not working at all or falling on me when loading groceries etc. I was afraid of fetching They did it at the auto shop and just used an umbrella to hold the back door. The guy at work offered to find me a replacement at the junkyard, which he did! After torturing himself in the heat to install the gate for him, it didn't work. He went online and found them and they worked like aโ€ฆ

Fits my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The quality is good and they work perfectly, although they are more difficult to close than before. Hardware Warning: You came with different hardware than shown in the picture. In fact, the iron was the same as the factory original (a good thing), but the quality of the iron wasn't. The tailgate had to be pushed up with force to properly tighten the fasteners, and a second or two of pressure when we relaxed a bit bent them a bit, rendering them useless as they
